Meet Your Doula
Hi, I'm Kayla Ortiz, and I'm the heart behind Royalteee LLC. The name "Royalteee" isn't just a business name—it's deeply personal.
Those three E's? They represent my three beautiful daughters, each of whose names start with the letter E. They are my why, my purpose, and the reason I wake up every day committed to supporting families through every pregnancy journey.
"Empowering families through life's most sentimental moments"
My Story
My path to becoming a full spectrum doula wasn't a straight line—it was forged through lived experience. As a mother of multiples, I know firsthand the unique challenges, fears, and joys that come with pregnancy and birth. I've navigated the overwhelming hospital hallways, felt the weight of medical decisions, and experienced both the triumph and heartbreak that can come with bringing life into this world.
I've also walked through the devastating loss of pregnancy, a pain that many suffer in silence. Through my own journeys—the beautiful and the broken—I witnessed something that changed me: the stark disparity in care for women of color.
I saw mothers who looked like me being dismissed, unheard, and unsupported during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I watched as Black and Brown women fought to be believed about their own bodies, only to face higher rates of complications and maternal mortality. That's when I knew: this had to change. And I could be part of that change.
In 2025, I became a certified doula through COPHI (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), committing myself to evidence-based, compassionate, full spectrum care. But my education didn't stop there—it was just the beginning.
I'm also a MassHealth-approved provider, ensuring that doula care is accessible to families regardless of their financial situation. Full spectrum doula care means I walk with you through it all—birth, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and abortion care. No judgment. No shame. Just unwavering support, because every person deserves to be held through every outcome. My mission is rooted in maternal health equity. I believe that:
• Black and Brown mothers deserve to be heard, respected, and supported
• Every pregnancy outcome deserves compassionate care
• Birth should be empowering, not traumatic
• Postpartum support is just as critical as prenatal care
• No one should navigate loss alone
When you work with me, you're not just hiring a doula—you're gaining an advocate, a witness, and a supporter who sees you, believes you, and will stand beside you no matter what your journey holds. My three E's remind me every day why this work matters. I do this so that every mother—every family—can experience the care, dignity, and support they deserve.
Let's walk this journey together.
